Uzair graduated with a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering in 2013. Prior to working at Kerax he worked as a development chemist formulating with geopolymers which are fire resistant materials at the other end of the spectrum to waxes.
Uzair has been with Kerax since 2016 where he has undertaken projects related to designing the emulsion plant and developing wax emulsion products for customers.
Wax emulsions has been a new core business for Kerax and Uzair has enjoyed the whole process of initially starting out formulating emulsions in the lab, to designing the wax emulsion plant in 2D and 3D, purchasing the equipment, commissioning the plant and now we are making large scale emulsions for customers. Uzair takes great satisfaction in seeing products developed into real world applications.
